This Privacy Policy explains how Opus ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and services. By using Opus, you agree to the practices described below.
Information we collect
- Uploaded audio files. When you upload an MP3 or audio file to process, we temporarily store the file on our servers only for as long as is needed to run vocal separation and deliver the result. Files are automatically deleted within 1 hour of processing.
- Usage data. We collect anonymous, aggregate data such as page views, number of downloads, browser type, device type, and approximate country. This data cannot identify you personally.
- Cookies. We and our advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to measure ad performance.
How we use information

- To monitor service health and prevent abuse
- To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the site
- To serve relevant advertising via Google AdSense
We do not sell personal data. We do not train AI models on uploaded audio. We do not listen to or review the contents of your files.
Advertising and third-party vendors
Opusdisplays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the Internet.

Uploaded audio and processed output files are deleted automatically within 1 hour of processing. Anonymous analytics data is retained in aggregate form only and cannot be used to identify you.
Children's privacy

Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain processing. Because we do not require accounts and store only short-lived, non-identifying data, we typically do not retain personal information tied to individuals.
